Hospice services do require an order from your physician. It is so very important that you discuss this with your physician early on in a diagnosis of 6 months or less to live. It is always good to call your local hospice and set up a meeting with their staff to better fit all your needs and let us help you and your family to prepare and understand what is to be expected. « less
